This research was motivated by the importance of understanding women’s fiqh studies on menstruation for sixth-grade female students entering puberty. Such understanding helps students recognize biological changes, understand Islamic legal rulings concerning menstruation, and perform religious practices correctly. This study aimed to determine the urgency of understanding women’s fiqh studies on menstruation among sixth-grade students at MI Al-Ishlah Sumuradem. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The subjects consisted of the Head of the Madrasah, Sixth-Grade Teacher, Fiqh Teacher, and sixth-grade female students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings showed that understanding women’s fiqh studies on menstruation has a very high level of urgency because it is directly related to religious practices and students’ preparedness for puberty. Most students understood the meaning and basic rulings of menstruation, although some lacked deeper understanding of purification procedures and worship during menstruation. Supporting factors included Fiqh lessons, parental guidance, Islamic learning resources, and students’ awareness, while inhibiting factors included embarrassment, limited parent-child communication, differences in understanding, and limited learning time. Therefore, women’s fiqh studies on menstruation are essential for preparing students to face puberty and perform religious obligations according to Islamic teachings.
